We Miss Our Cats
By Rachel
I am sure many of you were wondering when we would get to this point. A low or a high, I don’t know, but we will now say publicly that we miss them. We talk about them everyday. We look for them at the foot of the bed. When we eat dinner, we wonder if they have eaten breakfast. When we eat breakfast, we wonder if they have eaten dinner. We discuss their various attributes: long whiskers, white bowtie, big ears, white paw, soft belly. And I doubt they even remember us.

They are by all accounts happy in Tennessee with my parents and grandmother Louise looking after them. They have had a few adventures, found some good sleeping places and made peace with Louise’s dog. Jackson continues to be on the lookout for escape opportunities and Samson looks for cool round places to sleep like the bathroom sink.
Many thanks to Lucy and Rich for looking out for them, and to the various canine visitors to 621 Mt. View Drive for tolerating the indoor time/outdoor time schedule.
And to the cats, if you are reading this, we expect you to post a comment.
